
Rodrigo Haddad was born on December 18, 1974, in São Paulo, Brazil. He has been working as a country music artist for more than thirteen years, performing all over Brazil, Argentina, and the United States, and his music has also been played on country stations in Europe. He has been a special guest at the San Pedro Country Music Festival in Argentina –one of the most important festivals in South America– since it first started in 2003, and his single “Santa Fe” reached the number-one spot on the Top Independent Country Artists of the World chart in August of 2004.
In 2004, the Country Music Association invited Haddad to the Global Artist Party in downtown Nashville, where he joined several country artists from all over the world.
In 2005, he released his album Ten Years and More to Come… and taped his very first music video, “Like a Honky Tonk,” in a country joint in São Paulo
